Shift Timings: Mon Friday 7 am 3:30pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Maintenance Technician provides service functions throughout Client facilities.
- In addition to completing assigned duties continuous improvement effort relating to cost quality and delivery is expected.
- Perform repairs and/or cleaning as assigned.
- Operate heating and/or cooling systems and assist with repairs.
- Basic plumbing and pipe fitting.
- Basic carpentry work.
- Assist in moving and setting of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in painting of building or equipment.
- Assist in glazing caulking cement sheet metal work and roof repairs.
- Keep the Preventative Maintenance records current on all equipment under Maintenance III jurisdiction.
- Other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.
- 5 years related maintenance experience and/or training.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide money weight measurement volume and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple 12 step instructions.
- Have a general knowledge of most of the building trades
