Job Description
Installs modifies or maintains plant equipment and assists in determining appropriate methods to accomplish these tasks.
Inspects plant equipment to identify potential problems prior to breakdown occurrences.
Ability to precision align belts gears or direct coupled shafts using proper tools to specified tolerances.
Answer line calls in a prompt manner and carry required tools to complete work safety and efficiently.
Complete scheduled jobs and work orders as assigned.
Assist during process upsets as needed.
Participate in safety and plant trainings.
Participating in Root Cause Analysis and TPM meetings
Required Skills
Allen Bradley and PLC experience
High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
Experience with:
- Think under pressure make quick and strategic decisions.
- Work independently as well as part of a team and have shift flexibility.
- Show initiative be a selfstarter and be able to train and coach others.
- Communicate in English in a clear and effective manner.
- Operate a computer learn SAP and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook Excel PowerPoint etc.)
- Lubrication principles and bearing tolerances.
- Ability to take and score a 24 or higher on our Maintenance Skill Test
- Hydraulic systems pumps motor control power circuitry PLCs and welding
- Working knowledge of conveyor and chain driven systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment including being able to:
- Stand for 1012 hours straight.
- Able to ascend and descend stairs/ladders as needed for the role.
- Do repetitive movements (hand arm leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee and squatting push and pull 40 pounds)
- Exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable; and outside weather as needed.
