Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance manager is responsible for the organization and overall operation of the Maintenance team and systems for all production shipping and receiving areas. Specific responsibilities include:

• Ensure staffing needs are defined and personnel gaps are addressed on a daily and monthly basis or as may be necessary.
  
• Development of team capabilities and work processes necessary to meet business goals and objectives.
  
• Capability development of Maintenance supervisor(s).
  
• Regular inspection and preventive maintenance of systems and equipment that support production operations including prosciutto press and molding equipment thermorformers and tray sealers labelers slicers conveyor systems metal detectors weighing systems meat stuffing systems power transmission systems vacuum pumps HP steam boilers LP boilers chiller systems compressed air systems HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  
• Prioritize and delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution.
  
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance staff as needed.
  
• Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets to meet company objectives.
  
• Function as a critical team member for capital projects to ensure that budgets and timelines are met.
  
• Develop 3^rd party service providers as needed.
  
• Maintain an accurate record of maintenance requirements and actions using a CMMS system.
  
• Manage internal preventative and predictive maintenance processes.
  
• Supervise the daily maintenance activities and collaborate with the Operations team to identify immediate needs and proactively resolve future demands.
  
• Lead vendor and contractor relationships and monitor work conducted serving as a project manager on improvements and repairs.
