Seeking a fulltime livein Housekeeper and Handyman couple for a historic Grade I listed country house in Devon located near Exeter and the coast.
The ideal candidates should possess enthusiasm versatility integrity and a proven track record.
The family mostly based in London spends weekends school holidays and half terms in Devon with diaries planned well in advance.
Housekeeper to look after all housekeeping cleaning laundry grocery shopping and occasional childcare ensuring the property is ready before each visit. (Part time cleaner employed to assist). Occasional family cooking preparing breakfast or light family supper would be appreciated. A chef is brought in when entertaining.
Handyman responsibilities include property security understanding heating boiler room etc clearing the gutters vehicle upkeep and general DIY and light gardening (full time Gardener employed).
The couple should have a flexible approach the ability to multitask and be willing to adapt and learn new skills.
The accommodation provided is a twobedroom furnished apartment on 2 floors attached to the main house.
Working a 5 day week including some weekends and bank holidays.
Generally 45 hours per week
Salary negotiable around 70k
