Manage BAU (Business As Usual) Service Delivery for Mainframe Middleware CICS MQ IMS TM in a Technical Capacity
Provide Business hours support and then OnCall support as is the norm in BAU Service Delivery Role.
Develop design maintain test document and deploy CICS systemslevel and application software features and changes.
Administer a large CICS Production and Test environment utilizing CPSM (Sysplex mainframe environment).
Administer 3rdparty systems software including CICS system utilities along with application software development libraries (COBOL JCL PROCs PARMs copybooks). Assembler is a plus but not required.
Performance and Tuning in a large Z/OS Environment. Including Dump skills for Trouble shooting.
Create new or modify existing CICS regions in support of new applications or CICS architecture reengineering initiatives.
Install and maintain installation and maintenance of CICS software (Including CPSM support) and thirdparty vendor software to maintain a reliable and stable infrastructure.
Proficient with the IBM Information Management System DC
Knowledge of IMS Transaction Manager (IMS/TM) Explore how these facilities work together and how application programs interact with them in todays complex enterprise systems
Installation patching configuring and problem determination for IMS
Building and management of IMS in a highly available environment on the Mainframe platforms
Work with and manage an IMS system: Data Communications (DC)
Systems/Applications Management
Troubleshooting/Performance Tuning of IMS
Support Mainframe Online/OLTP environment CICS MQ WAS
Support Mainframe Message Transfer & Connectivity environments z/OS CONNECT
Good understanding of Messaging Interfaces and Connections to DB2 IMS Datacom
Monitoring Incident and Problem Management of Mainframe Middleware environment
IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems SW downloads Escalations
Work on Mainframe Middleware administration Tools and Products
Full Time
