We are seeking a Journeyman Machinist with heavy manufacturing experience You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments.
Night shift only
10 to 12 hr shifts
MondayFriday with weekend availability required
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
- Operate Vertical and Horizontal Manual Lathes
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
- Minimum of 10 Years Experience
- Experience with Vertical Turning Lathe 26" 360
- Experience with Horizontal Boring Mill 4"8"
- Experience operating other equipment grinders drill presses and other
- Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
