Job Description:

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess implement and evaluate patient/family care.

• Provides nursing care (including the administration of medication) to meet patients needs.

• Participates in the development and maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu in assigned care areas.

• Adheres to and implements organizational and departmental policies and procedures as they pertain to the work area.

• Performs constant observations intermittent observations specializing checks or other forms of patient safety procedures as assigned.

• Share information appropriately with members of the multidisciplinary team and other hospital department representatives through verbal reports and written documentation.

• Participates in preadmission evaluation as requested by the Program Manager and completes Admission Nursing Assessment on all new Admissions to C/A Residential I & Partial Programs (Including ARCC).

• Conducts monthly medication renewals and reviews daily reports.

• Responsible for followup on medical tests and labs. Oversees completion of admission paperwork. Completes medication portion of aftercare forms.

• Responsible for tracking medical errors.
