Are you a skilled and experienced lowvoltage electrician with a passion for electronics installation TechKinect a leading technology company based in Middletown OH is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a LowVoltage Electrician and Electronics Installer. In this role you will be responsible for the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of lowvoltage electrical systems and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities:

LowVoltage Electrical Systems Installation:

  • Install and configure lowvoltage electrical systems including security systems access control systems surveillance cameras intercom systems and fire alarms.

  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations during installation and maintenance processes.

  • Collaborate with the project team to plan and execute lowvoltage electrical installations for residential commercial and industrial settings.

  • Perform site inspections and assessments to determine the optimal placement and wiring requirements for lowvoltage systems.

Electronics Installation and Integration:

  • Install and integrate various electronic equipment such as audio systems video systems home automation systems and networking infrastructure.

  • Configure and program electronic devices to function seamlessly within the overall system.

  • Collaborate with clients project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that electronic installations meet their specific requirements and expectations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electronic equipment ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed lowvoltage electrical systems and electronic equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise such as wiring faults equipment malfunctions or network connectivity problems.

  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities including repairs replacements and upgrades.

  • Stay uptodate with industry trends advancements and best practices in lowvoltage electrical systems and electronics installation.

  • Compliance and Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with lowvoltage electrical systems and electronic equipment.

  • Ensure that installations and wiring meet safety standards and regulations.

  • Comply with all relevant codes regulations and permits related to lowvoltage electrical work.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a lowvoltage electrician or electronics installer preferably in residential commercial or industrial settings.

  • Extensive knowledge of lowvoltage electrical systems wiring methods and industry standards.

  • Strong technical skills in installing and troubleshooting electronic equipment such as audio systems video systems and networking infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics diagrams and blueprints.

  • Familiarity with relevant tools equipment and testing devices used in lowvoltage electrical work.

  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to electrical work.

  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
