Logistics Trainee

We are looking for a Logistics Trainee to monitor and manage open service and spare parts as well as project deliveries and supplier deliveries book shipments and handle our export/import documents. In your job you will be supported and supervised by our experienced Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Specialists. This is a fulltime summer vacation substitution between MayAugust (4 months).

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for organizing deliveries from and to Evac and from suppliers to customers. You will handle delivery process in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool and in our other systems including all documentation. You will prepare different logistics/ transportation documents. You handle customs clearance and duties procedures in collaboration with Logistics Service Providers. You analyze and select the best routes and transportation methods from total cost lead time and customer satisfaction perspectives under consideration of business requirements.

Active communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersis vital in your job. You will support and collaborate with Evac Buyers Service Sales Project Coordinators as well as other internal stakeholders in Logistics and Transportation related issues.

Keys to success

• Preferably at least Bachelor level education from business or engineering or ongoing studies in one of these fields.
• Preferably Logistics transportation supply chain experience or strong interest in the field.
• Preferably experience or theoretical knowledge on import / export processes and Incoterms as well as customs and duty handling.
• Preferably understanding/ experience on ERP systems and logistics / transportation management systems.
• Fluent in English
