We are hiring a Logistics Support Specialist for one of our clients in Phoenix AZ.

Job Description:

  • The Public Health Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for aiding the Maricopa County Department in developing and implementing new programs procedures and training to enhance efficiency and resource accountability.
  • This includes working with department staff to integrate mobile assets deployable and medical supplies into new resource management systems and developing the infrastructure and training to support these activities.
  • The specialist must be capable of project coordination from start to finish with limited assistance and have knowledge and experience in documenting and coordinating vehicle maintenance.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to conduct project coordination from start to finish with limited assistance.
  • Knowledge and experience in documenting and coordinating vehicle maintenance.
  • Skills in maintaining detailed records for all vehiclerelated service events.
  • Ability to be trained in OnBase software for purchasing and inventory management.
  • Ability to participate in and assist with emergency response activities.

Skills Preferred:

  • Experience in coordinating the use of equipment among various programs and offices. Proficiency in writing operational procedures.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training inperson online and in a telework environment.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance event coordination or inventory management.

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with coordinating the use of equipment among several programs and offices.
  • Experience with overseeing the maintenance of vehicles and knowledge of mobile health units/recreational vehicles.

Education Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of responsible clerical and/or administrative experience.

Education Preferred:

  • An Associates degree or additional relevant experience.

Work hours:

  • 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Additional information:

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona drivers license by the time of hire. Immunization requirements must be met within one month of hire for various vaccinepreventable illnesses.
  • Driving using a personal vehicle will be required for job duties. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed with the rate defined by the Finance Department at Maricopa County.
  • Driving about 46 times per month.
