Logistics - Route Service Rep I

Job Description: Basic Purpose:

1 Drives a vehicle to pick up deliver and properly store specimens and other materials with assigned route or on an as needed basis.
2 Delivers client supplies and reports.
3 Provides customer service to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Responsible for the safe and timely transport of specimens supplies equipment and materials to the appropriate destination.
2 Responsible for operating a company vehicle safely between laboratory suppliers and our clients.
3 Completes route by following the route pickup list while allowing for additional stops and special pickups.
4 Reports to dispatch for route pickup list and receives items needed to route i.e. phone pager keys etc. along with any special pickup instructions.
5 Maintains records of each specimen collected each day.
6 Delivers client supplies and reports.
7 Provides customer service to clients.
8 Provides appropriate client satisfaction information to Logistics Management and sales.
9 Performs the duties of Route Service Rep I and other duties as defined by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalency

Work Experience: 13 years preferably in a customer service or delivery related job

Other: Communication skills
Valid Drivers License
Clean driving record
Additional Sills:
