POSITION: LOGISTICS MANAGER

LOCATION MUSGRAVE

REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the daytoday running of the Transport / Logistics Department. This responsibility will extend to developing strategies to ensure the efficient and costeffective functioning of the service

Qualifications

Grade 12 proficiency in reading writing and literacy

Min 10 years National logistics experience

Valid Drivers License

Preferred Skills and Experience

Excellent command of the English Language both spoken and written

Team player

Adaptability and Flexibility

Relevant training in management

Supervisory Skills

Strong computer skills

Confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

1. Couriers / Collections / Printing & Stores

Planning and Managing of Drivers for Sample collections & Monitoring of TAT.

Directing the Vehicle Inspections Maintenance and repairs monitoring mileages & booking services.

Directing the Training of staff & managing the Doctors Rounds & Customer Complaints.

Dealing with service providers and monitoring cost with different suppliers.

Responsible for logging of insurance claims and disciplinary actions.

Oversee that reports are printed by admin and delivered to clients (TAT). Responsible for Queries & Complaints.

Oversee the Responsibility for Doctors orders & stock control. Distribution of stock to Doctors and Hospitals.

2. Quality Management

Nationally ensure the correct application for quality assurance processes in standard operating procedures.

Write Review and Implement standard operating procedures in order to ensure that the laboratory is constantly able to provide a high quality cost effective and safe service Nationally

Nationally Drive the participation and promotion of Continuing Professional Development activities within the departments to contribute to staff development and in compliance with HPCSA requirements.

Provide training and development to staff so that they have the skills required by the organisation to ensure that a high standard of service is delivered.
