Job Description:

Our client a mining company on the African continent is currently looking for a Logistics Manager. In this role you will be responsible for efficiently and costeffectively planning all movements of materials and equipment to our mine regardless of their origin. You will be responsible for liaising with other departments to ensure seamless coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and costeffective planning of material and equipment movements to our mine irrespective of origin.
• Supervise logistics bases close to the mine site.
• Implement and sustain logistics tracking and reporting systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless coordination.
• Planning in advance.
• Primarily Office based with occasional travel to site.

Requirements:

• Strong logistics experience (air / sea / road freight).
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
• Perfect understanding of incoterms.
• Strong datadriven analytical and resultoriented mindset.
• Proficient with computers and databases (excel and/ or Google Sheet formulas SQL.)
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
