Logistics Area Leader Engineering Degree Required

• Build capability in Logistics team leaders and technicians to deliver key business results and drive line/area improvements
• Responsible for engaging the team in meeting Safety Quality Production and Cost targets for their line/area
• Develop and maintain department/team scorecards and review with leadership each month; understand where gaps exist versus results targets and the causes
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators are established for teams and results are communicated regularly
• Drive highperformance work culture by engaging with team members on the floor and coaching to problem solve make decisions and become selfreliant
• Leverage HighPerformance Organizational principles to develop leadership skills in individuals and the teams
• Partner with Logistics Manager in developing and delivering business master plan including key technical and organizational projects
• Address gaps in line/area performance through the implementation and effective coaching of company Continuous Improvement methodologies; foster a zeroloss culture
• Responsible for ensuring department issues are driven to root cause and eliminated
• Understand company policies and procedures and apply consistently across your teams; administer any necessary discipline
• Oversee training and qualification programs for designated line/area; participate in assessments ensure effective training and maintain consistent qualification standards
• Translate complex information into easily understandable messages to facilitate clear communication and expectations
• Embrace change and build team buyin to new initiatives and improvements
• Manage time and attendance for designated line/area (including payroll approval)
• Provide performancebased feedback to team leaders and technicians included annual Performance Appraisals
• Model the Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other
• Understand Supply Chain software/systems and serve as a resource to team (WMS/Blue Yonder IMI Oracle)
• Track and drive favorable manufacturing variances while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure peanut usage and variance systems are functioning correctly
• Identify and support cost savings projects

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering any discipline

• 2 years of logistics or manufacturing operational experience as well as experience in leading supervising supervising or managing others

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a large organization to deliver business needs
• Ability to effectively engage on the floor
• Decisive proactive and strategic in decision making
• Strong analytical troubleshooting problemsolving and root cause identification skills
• Effectively works across organization boundaries and with diverse teams
• Selfmotivated organized and able to learn new skills/technologies quickly
• Excellent presentation written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that most effectively supports the organization
• Willingness to work offshifts or weekends as needed
