Litigation Associate Junior to Mid-Level

Responsibilities:

1. Case Management:
   

   • Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters including but not limited to contract disputes personal injury claims and commercial litigation.
     
   • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
     

2. Legal Drafting:
   

   • Draft pleadings motions and legal memoranda.
     
   • Prepare and respond to discovery requests including interrogatories requests for production and requests for admissions.
     

3. Court Appearances:
   

   • Represent clients in court hearings motions and other proceedings.
     
   • Attend and argue motions before judges and magistrates.
     

4. Client Interaction:
   

   • Communicate with clients to provide updates on case developments and address their concerns.
     
   • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and evidence.
     

5. Depositions:
   

   • Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses experts and parties.
     
   • Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
     

6. Negotiations:
   

   • Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
     
   • Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients.
     

Requirements

1. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
   
2. Admitted to practice law in Colorado.
   
3. 38 years of civil litigation experience.
   
4. Strong research writing and analytical skills.
   
5. Experience with case management software and legal research databases.
   
6. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
