For one of our Clients we are currently looking for

Linux Software Engineer SW and HW Expert

Location: Switzerland Hybrid (2 Office Dats 3 Remote Days)
Type of contract: B2B contract
Estimated Salary: CHF/monthly
Duration: 10 Months potential extensions

The scope of the project:

• Contribute to Medical Instrument / Software Development Projects with technical knowhow
• Development and maintenance of inhouse Linux distribution and opensource tools
• Linux Software and Hardware troubleshooting debugging and rootcause analysis

Requirements:

• Linux Software Engineer with a minimum 6 years of experience
• Experience in developing customised Linux distributions (5 years )
• Proven experience with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu) (5 years)
• Experience in Embedded Software Hardware Drivers ARM Platform hardware/software integration
• Development experience with C/C Python Go Web technologies Shell Scripting
• Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and Software building testing packaging
• Education: Master in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Team player with a cando attitude quick learner enjoys problemsolving ability to work independently
• English: advanced. Must have a solid ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.

Beneficial / Desirable:

• Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines
• Debian package building
• Coming from Pharma/MedTech industries would be a strong plus
• German: Would be a plus not mandatory
• Ideal candidates for this role will be open to travel occasionally and have their laptop and phone.
