Ansible and Linux Admin L2
MustHave
Red Hat Linux Environment Support:
I. Provide comprehensive support for the entire Red Hat Linux environment.
II. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Red Hat systems (RHEL789)
III. Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive vulnerability management programs to identify assess and remediate security vulnerabilities across the IT infrastructure
Redhat Satellite and IDM user Management:
I. Administer Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning configuration management and patch management.
II. Manage Red Hat Identity Management (IDM) for centralized authentication and access control.
Linux Patching:
I. Develop and implement strategies for effective and secure Linux patching.
II. Ensure timely application of security patches and updates.
Ansible Automation:
I. Design develop and maintain Ansible automation scripts and playbooks.
II. Implement Ansible automation for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
Ansible Callback Service:
I. Set up and maintain Ansible callback services for monitoring and reporting.
II. Ensure proper logging and alerting for Ansible automation activities.
Playbook Creation:
I. Collaborate with application support teams to create Ansible playbooks for application deployment and support.
II. Develop playbooks for daytoday OS management tasks.
Collaboration and Documentation:
I. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand automation requirements.
II. Document all processes procedures and automation workflows.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
I. Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify issues.
II. Optimize Ansible scripts and playbooks for performance.
Qualifications:
I. Proven experience as an Ansible Automation Engineer or similar role.
II. Indepth knowledge of Red Hat Linux systems and associated technologies.
III. Experience with Red Hat Satellite and IDM.
IV. Strong scripting skills (Python Bash) for automation.
V. Proficient in Ansible automation and playbook creation.
VI. Familiarity with Linux patching best practices.
VII. Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
VIII. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
I. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
II. Experience with other configuration management tools (Chef Puppet).
III. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
IV. Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
GoodtoHave
Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners.
Good communication skill along with expertise in domain knowledge and ITIL knowledge as well.
Certification in Linux Administration
Knowledge in (Azure AWS) cloud administration
Experience with OS engineering activities including
Creating/testing shell scripts for automation enhancements
