Description:
- Support the installation configuration and operation of a Linux landscape in an AWS cloud environment.
Install configure and maintain Linux servers and systems. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement security measures to protect Linux systems from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access. - Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and assistance to endusers.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Responsibilities include OS installation and configuration OS provisioning of application administrators and service users performing STIGs and creating scripts to support application functionality or other purposes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. Ubuntu CentOS Red Hat).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware KVM).
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms

- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud)
