Job Position
Designation: Linux Admin
Location: Jersey city NJ, Charlotte NC, Dallas TX
- RHEL/CentOS Servers administration as L2/L3 in virtual and physical environments
- Experience in RHEL/CentOS installing, configuring, and maintaining servers
- Experience in HP/Dell hardware configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and working knowledge with vendor
- Experience in VMWare & v-Center and managing virtual server
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills in RHEL/CentOS
- Handle systems monitoring alerts
- Experience in patching and upgrading servers into latest release version
- Familiar with Satellite registration and package repository configuration
- Experience in network configuration and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, LAN, subnetting, TCP/IP, SSH)
- Experience in SAN & local disks configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience in LVM file system management
- Incident/problem determination and resolution
- Work on scheduled tasks as part of change management
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision within and across teams
- Strong interpersonal along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
