Role: Linux Engineer/ Admin
Location: Irving, TX (Day 1 at ONSITE (Looking for candidates local to Dallas or Open to relocate and work at Client Location Day 1)
Duration: Full Time
Required: RHEL, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu, Bash/Shell
Must Have:
- Red Hat 7
- VERITAS Cluster (VCS) experience and VVR must along with hands on knowledge for AIX and Solaris Oracle.
- Ability to support large server environment and production support experience.
- Scripting Bash, Chef and Ansible desirable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters /University degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
