Life Cycle Assessment Research Assistant

sustamize is a ClimateTech startup empowering companies to measure optimize and manage product and value chain footprints. We have developed the largest CO2e reference database with intelligent algorithms called the Product Footprint Engine and are now expanding our software solution. Our integrative CO2e data approach not only brings accurate CO2e transparency to our customers but also enables them to become netZero save costs and comply with regulations.

We aim to become the leading CO2e data and smart solutions provider for product footprint optimization in Germany Europe and ultimately worldwide. We are growing and are looking for ambitious talents to join us in driving the climate transformation.

The Life Cycle Assessment Research Assistant position is a parttime position dedicated to growing our database. The focus lies on increasing amount and quality of our data creating new datapoints adding data to existing points creating new models and relationships for calculation. You will work closely with the founding team and especially with Jonas Scheyrer our LCA data lead. You will be able to input ideas and help in the development of the business solution.

Tasks

Your main tasks:

• Research of base data CO2e information
• Research of industrial production processes
• Modelling of industrial production processes and creating database relations
• Assistance for marketing and communication tasks
• Support in interdisciplinary projects
• Assist future technical expansion of database into new areas of expertise

Requirements

What you bring along:

• Studying an ecological or technical field with relations to Life Cycle Assessment
• A good common technical understanding and interdisciplinary orientation
• Skilled in data research and processing
• Affinity to IT and databases
• Base knowledge of norms and regulations in the field of life cycle assessment environmental product declaration
• Knowledge of database technology especially graph databases of advantage
• Good in German and English additional languages a plus
