Job Summary:

The Level 3 Help Desk Engineer is in charge of designing, implementing and maintaining the information technology systems for an organization. Their duties include designing the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, establishing networking rules for cybersecurity and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues.

A Level 3 Help Desk Engineer works with various departments to manage and develop systems
within a company. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a Systems Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. A Systems Engineer works to balance various aspects of a project, most of them complex issues such as architecture and system dynamics.

Responsibilities for this position :

  • Provide level 3 technical support
  • Respond to customer requests and manage the impact and priorities of these requests
  • Resolve or participate in the resolution of problems according to internal procedures
  • Perform server upgrades/support
  • Follow up on the progress of requests with customers
  • Administer and maintain our clients server infrastructure
  • Analyze the infrastructure and make recommendations according to the needs of the customers
  • Participate in various IT projects for our customers
  • Document interventions and update information in our systems
  • Install, configure and administer applications.



Requirements

Desired Skills:

  • DEC in computer science and 7 years of relevant experience;
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Active Directory environments;
  • Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare);
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft cloud (Office 365, Azure, etc);
  • Concern for the quality of customer service;
  • Strong ability to adapt and learn;
  • Sense of organization and priorities;
  • Concern for the quality of customer service;
  • Perfectly bilingual in French (oral and written).
