Legal Administrator

Location: Cape Town South Africa

Working Hours: 08:00 am 5:00 pm

Job Types: Fulltime Permanent

Our client seeks a dedicated Legal Administrator to manage legal administrative tasks with professionalism and attention. The ideal candidate will handle drafting legal documents liaising with attorneys and processing court paperwork.

Qualification:

  • Matric Certificate (LLB candidates will not be considered)

Competencies:

  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • 6 months of Debt Review experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review documents for presentation at the Magistrate Court or National Consumer Tribunal
  • Compile necessary annexures for Magistrate court application / NCT application
  • Legal drafting
  • Coordinate court dates and case numbers
  • Manage Confirmatory affidavit
  • Address any Oppositions
  • Handle Postponements
  • Update DHS to reflect the relevant status
  • Receive Granted Orders

Experience:

  • Familiarity with administrative office procedures practices and equipment: 1 year (Preferred)




At least 6 months Debt review experience.
