We are in search of a skilled and experienced Lead Audio Visual Travel Engineer to join a successful Government / Commercial AV Integrator.

Responsibilities:

The AV installation Technician will be responsible for the installation maintenance and service of professional audio video control systems professional lighting and electronic equipment. The installer/technician is responsible for completing projects most efficiently and effectively. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company while assuring a professional and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the installation of audio video and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/Networks.
  • Must have experience working on Audio Visual systems such as Crestron Extron Biamp AMX Shure QSC.
  • Ability to work independently be selfdirected and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus(Creston Extron Biamp AMX Dante).
  • Minimum of 5 years installing audiovisual equipment including video panels speakers racking microphones A/V cabling and wiring.
  • Minimum of 5 years in commissioning experience
  • Loading and configuration of Crestron control systems.
  • The ability to lift 5060 lbs. climb crawl and raise items overhead.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 %.
  • With a clean criminal record

Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
