Job Overview:

The Business Engagement team is the primary client facing team for Goodera’s Enterprise clients. This team is responsible for understanding the client requirements, making sure that the deliverables are planned internally as well with the client.

As a member in this team, you will be working with 1 or more clients and will be required to understand the day to day operational tasks pertaining to the overall deliverables for the various stakeholders. This role will also require a strong understanding of the ESG ecosystem, applicable standards/ laws to work with Goodera’s sustainability clients. At Goodera, we believe in deriving client value through data driven insights and onboard all our clients to the Goodera platform, the Business Engagement team members also require developing a fair understanding of the Goodera products.

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai/ Delhi NCR / Remote

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Program Delivery

• Understand and learn the Goodera proprietary platform modules, domain and processes of the team and account attached.

• Lead various aspects of client delivery like business analysis, solution design for the given project

• Ensure quality of business engagement by regular client cadence.

• Proactive management of client deliverables as well as internal tasks.

2. Sustainability Advisory

• Understand the clients vision and co-develop the roadmap for adhering to the client’s ESG goals and projects. This may also include reporting on sustainability standards.

• Share data-based insights to the clients regarding their programs.

• Depending on client engagement, engage directly with Goodera’s corporate clients and provide subject matter expertise for development of sustainability strategies, goal and target setting, materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, sustainability reporting and other exercises.

3. Internal Stakeholder Management and Capability Building

• Drive collaboration via internal project and knowledge management

• Timely raising of internal requests to ensure the overall project plan and objectives are met.

• Develop understanding of Goodera product modules, as necessary to provide appropriate guidance to client teams.

• Create an effort estimation and capacity allocation process to service all client deliverables

• Occasionally contribute with thought leadership to opinion pieces, case studies, industry reports, and other publications by Goodera; act as moderator on Goodera’s webinar (panel discussions).

• Own internal knowledge management related to domain expertise

Requirements

Requirement:

An ideal candidate would be a passionate individual who is keen to work towards improving the way companies carry out their social and environmental projects under Sustainability by using the power of technology. Someone who can work under supervision on uncertainties and build solutions that pass the test of time.

• The ideal candidate would have 4-8 years of relevant professional experience, including 3-4 years of experience with client ESG reporting from the sustainability practice of a global consulting firm

• Certifications in reporting standards are a plus.

• Working knowledge of prominent reporting frameworks (GRI,SASB, DJSI, TCFD etc.) and ESG reporting practices.

• Working knowledge of client corporate sustainability functions in varying maturity stages - primary activities, pain points, best practices; ideally across multiple industries or sectors.

• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

• Ability to thrive in a less structured environment of a fast-growing company.

• A proclivity to nurture less experienced team-members and enable cross-learning (nice to have);

• Possesses stakeholder management and client influencing, relationship building skills.

• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

• A bias toward action and ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.

• Excellent presentation, and communication skills
