Overview:
The Lead QA role is crucial to our organizations software development process ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. As a Lead QA you will be responsible for leading the testing team defining testing strategies and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the QA team in testing activities
- Develop and implement QA policies and procedures
- Define and communicate testing strategies and plans
- Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Design prioritize and execute test cases
- Coordinate testing efforts with crossfunctional teams
- Identify and report software defects in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality
- Stay updated on industry best practices and latest testing tools
- Conduct regular quality assessments and performance reviews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proven experience in leading and managing a QA team
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement
- Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
- Proven track record of delivering highquality software products
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilitiesJob Description:
Understanding of Testing Lifecycle
Experience in test planning and estimations (For Leads Only)
Experience in Functional Regression
Handson experience with Manual and Automation API Testing tools.
Good Experience in building and using automation frameworks using technologies: Java Selenium
Cucumber Soap UI REST JSON and XML Eclipse IDE etc. Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Experience in web application testing (JS HTML CSS)
Knowledge of common tools/technologies used in testing: XML JSON Postman Soap UI
Experience working in an Agile team.
Good communication skills
Banking domain experience is good to have.
