We have an opening for a highcalibre Lead Quality Assurance Engineer.

The ideal candidate will be a wellrounded technology leader with extensive experience of collaborative working with business stakeholders to implement high quality software changes. They will also have experience mentoring and developing junior engineers to develop and improve their skill set.

The successful candidate will help ensure the quality of our products and platforms with their ability to adapt to a range of different engineering approaches to achieve greater performance scalability resilience and reuse as well as reduce time to market for new solutions thereby supporting the entrepreneurialism of our business.

What youll achieve

As a Lead QA Engineer you will be accountable for:

• Building a successful team which consistently delivers high quality solutions within defined architectures and timescales.

• Individually contributing to the delivery of the team.

• Helping to ensure the quality of our bespoke software products and platforms to achieve nonfunctional and strategic goals.

We are looking for a wellrounded QA Engineer and manager with a strong trackrecord of building and leading technology squads. You will have a broad and deep technology background with experience across a range of technology stacks and delivery methodologies.

You will also be able to work well within less mature technology organisations while also driving demonstrable improvements to process and practice.

Who were looking for

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive handson experience with the Microsoft Stack (C# SQL Server Azure including functions pipelines web apps App Insights DevOps)

• Demonstrable experience with a range of modern architectures (microservices event driven CQRS APIs & webhooks).

• Experience working within a range of delivery models (Scrum Kanban Vmodel Projectbased).

• Ability to support a range of delivery roles (project managers delivery leads scrum masters) in estimating planning and delivering complex software products and projects.

• Proven ability to coach and mentor both junior and more experienced team members.

• Experience of line managing QA engineers within a delivery squad.

• Ability to guide complex projects to successful delivery through effective decisionmaking.

• Must have the resilience and adaptability to work well in maturing technology organisations and to play a constructive role in driving maturity.
