Position Available: Lead Life Skills Professional Philadelphia
Eagle Staffing Company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Life Skills Professional (LLSP) on behalf of our esteemed client. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Life Skills Supervisor with program operations ensuring all activities adhere to strict industry standards as well as federal and local regulations. The chosen candidate will not only provide direct support to program participants but will also mentor and oversee the development of other Life Skills Professionals.
Schedule: Monday Friday 7am3pm (This is a temporary role)
Key Responsibilities
Direct Care:
- Deliver services to participants ensuring compliance with state local and federal regulations.
- Create and maintain organizational systems in designated areas tailored to the support needs of individuals.
- Assist in the development of personal recoveryoriented goals for participants.
- Facilitate the development and daily support of participantspecific RSP Goals every 60 days.
- Provide local transportation for participants as necessary.
Staff Support:
- Serve as a mentor to Life Skills Professionals by training observing providing feedback and guiding the implementation of treatment plans.
Operations:
- Collaborate with a team of Life Skills Professionals and management to guarantee that services are delivered in line with treatment plans and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in crisis intervention and document all critical incidents.
- Ensure proper completion and accuracy of required site documentation including observation checks MARs and daily shift notes.
- Cooperate with other agencies within the service delivery system to guarantee the provision of coordinated continuous and effective rehabilitation services.
Administration:
- Assist in maintaining operational standards including the oversight of household chores and the management of daily census intake and billing data.
- Play an active role in the assessment planning implementation monitoring and evaluation of participants daily living activities in alignment with the Recovery Model.
- Communicate maintenance needs and participant progress to the Program Manager and assess participants strengths and skills to promote skill development.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the social services field.
- Certification as a CPRP is required; CPS certification is preferred.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
