Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordination guidance mentoring and supervision for design and engineering
Work closely with vendors and consultation departments as needed
Guide the Engineering Team in developing engineering deliverables as per the project execution philosophy carrying out FEED Prebid Engineering and Detail Engineering
Should have knowledge of interfaces with other engineering disciplines in carrying out project work for providing receiving / reviewing the deliverables at various stages of project
Provide Engineering Support for approved Capital Projects
Develop Engineering Design scopes for projects and packages
Participate in all safety studies like HAZID HAZOP SIL classification and verification F&G optimization & mapping study review sessions
Control System Engineering including system & network architecture FDS IO database Logic diagram loop drawings Control & shut philosophy Review of system vendor drawings interface with packages inspection related documents etc.
Must have experience and exposure to detailed engineering related to all the following area of instrumentation and control systems Field instrument selection sizing evaluation and vendor documents & drawing review of Control systems packaged systems Telecom equipment s & systems all its specifications procurement engineering construction engineering etc.
Detailed engineering including review of 3D model sizing or selection Requisition or specification data sheets Offer Evaluation Instrumentation Layouts Hook up diagrams Cable schedule MTO Package instrumentation interface and Vendor drawing review for all field Instruments and Instrumentation & Telecom packages
Thorough knowledge on installation engineering design layouts MTO Hook up specifications for bulk review of 3D model Should have worked on various packages (compressors blowers heaters pumps refrigeration etc) including preparation of instrument specifications for packages offer evaluation vendor print review of package documents
Troubleshoot and investigate malfunction systems and provide recommendations to reduce the down time
Assist and provide technical consultation to Maintenance Operation teams and Plant Operation Engineers
Knowledge in cyber security for control systems
Conduct and Review major studies and Incident Investigations
Knowledge of international or domestic good engineering practices
Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards pertaining to the oil and gas industry
Knowledge of latest technologies available for field instruments Control Systems & packages equipment s or systems
Outline the activities a person will perform on a regular
Knowledge and Experience:
Min 15 years experience in design engineering and field technical support in Oil & gas industry
Should have handson and indepth knowledge of international standards and codes (IEC ISA NEMA API AGA ISO MPMS)
Should have handson and indepth knowledge of field instrumentation Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) F&G system F&G instruments relief valves ESD valves analyzers etc.
Exposure / experience on telecommunication system and packaged system like HIPPS VMS/MMS TFMS WHCP Fire alarm detection system etc.
Technical & Business skills:
Worked in sizing software like Instrucll
Able to work and make decisions for fasttrack execution
Fluent in written and spoken skills
Computer literacy involving in regular use of professional office and technical applications
