Position: Lead Front End React Developer

Job Type: W2

Location: Chicago IL (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite Local Candidates Only)

Qualifications (MustHaves):

• Educational Background: BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 8 years with 5 years in JavaScript React.js TypeScript and Node.js.

Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in developing userfriendly websites including mobile platforms using JavaScript frameworks.
• Serverside programming skills with a preference for automation and backend support capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL particularly in developing and optimizing complex stored procedures.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira/ADO.
• Strong foundation in opensource technologies database technologies microservice architecture cloudnative development and CI/CD practices.
• Domain Driven Design experience is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication analytical judgment and management skills. Ability to work effectively with both client and IT management and staff.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with endusers to define requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new products (greenfield and brownfield) using ReactJS building reusable components for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into highquality code.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to leverage the microFE framework/components library for application modernization.
• Optimize components for performance across various devices and browsers.
• Facilitate code reviews debug and resolve defects and bugs.
• Design develop test and deploy software solutions continuously improving system performance functionality and stability.
• Provide highlevel technical consultation throughout the project development cycle.
• Lead and guide the team fostering an environment of participation teamwork and communication.

Should Have:

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Redux or other state management libraries within the React ecosystem.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. D3 Chart.js).
• A good sense of UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with code style guides (e.g. Airbnb style guide).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Experience in writing automated tests (e.g. Mocha Jest).
• Knowledge of web application security principles.
• Experience with Webpack or similar module bundlers.
• Leadership experience.
