Responsibilities:

Heres what youll be doing:

1. Guiding Teams: Provide expert guidance to project teams on contract matters helping them navigate complexities and ensure successful outcomes.
2. Spotting Opportunities: Identify potential risks and lucrative opportunities within contracts ensuring smooth execution of commercial aspects.
3. Leading Strategy: Develop strategies for time/cost claims and support dispute resolution processes liaising with legal teams as needed.
4. Setting Standards: Implement standardized contract management practices documenting any issues uncovered during the closeout process.
5. Crafting Agreements: Lead in drafting and finalizing settlement agreements leveraging insights from legal experts to protect our interests.
6. Ensuring Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Italian laws and regulations demonstrating proficiency in contracts executed under Italian law.

Background:

1. Language Skills: Fluency in Italian and English is a must with proficiency in other languages considered a bonus.
2. Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Economics or Law will set you up for success.
3. Experience: You should have at least 10 years of handson experience in EPC projects especially in power generation and transmission.
4. Expertise: Demonstrated skills in project change management claim management and contract administration are crucial.
5. Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to Italian power transmission projects would be highly advantageous.
6. Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills will help you establish effective interfaces with clients and subcontractors.
