We are looking for a

Lawyer (m/f/d)to support our team in Bangkok, Thailand.

About the job:

Our team in Bangkok is fairly international, consisting of advisors trained in Thailand, Germany, France, and the UK. The same goes for our clients who literally come from across the globe. We advise multinational corporations, local conglomerates, private investors, investment funds, international development and non-governmental organisations, development banks, foreign chambers and embassies. We advise clients who are new to Thailand, but also those that have long-standing operations in the country. This means that we advise and provide services on a very broad range of topics, from the establishment of a corporate set-up, through ongoing legal and tax advice, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and payment administration up to the dissolution of a business. With our one-stop shop concept, we implement for our clients legal, tax and corporate compliance structures that work and let them focus on their day-to-day business activities in Thailand.

Your profile:

The ideal candidate, therefore, needs to be able to conduct research on a variety of legal issues and present practical solutions in an easy-to-understand manner, always taking the commercial needs of our clients into account. The job we offer is not an easy one. For those who move to Thailand from abroad, it will mean to work in an unknown environment and different legal system. The beginning will be very challenging, and this job offer is expressly not for candidates who "want to try out Asia". We are looking for someone who is not just passing through, but is willing to start and build a successful career with Luther in Thailand and the region.

A promising candidate would have the following profile:

• Strong technical and commercial abilities
• Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing, in English and in German)
• Able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload
• Committed to providing excellent services to our clients
• Proactive involvement in business development and knowledge management
• Knowledge of international tax law is an advantage.
