Intake SpecialistLabor Law (Remote position) (los angeles ca)

California Labor Law

TYPE OF POSITION: FULLTIME; telecommuting ok / Work Location: Remote

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

Expected hours: 35 45 per week

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

Answer screen and follow up with potential wage and hour clients via phone email website chat etc.

Collect wage and hour intake information and documents particularly work schedule and payroll info.

Update client/case records in computer software

Prepare and draft outgoing communications in the form of letters faxes and emails.

Coordinate and interface with clients opposing counsel and the Labor Commission.

Web research of employers


Requirements:

MUST be fluent in spoken and written Spanish be a selfstarter able to manage work load with minimal supervision 100% ontime and reliable.

Prior experience in wage and hour (overtime law break law minimum wage law) a plus

Must have quiet home office with fast and reliable internet be proficient with MS Excel/Word/Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. We will provide work computer work phone and will provide wage and hour law training.


Benefits:

COMPENSATION: $20/hr plus 5 paid sick days 5 vacation days and 11 paid holidays per year plus flexible unpaid days off depending on personal need.
