Landscape Operative

Our client is an established garden design landscape build and garden maintenance company working mostly in the Greater Dublin area. They require a Landscape Operative for their landscape maintenance division.

You will have:

• A minimum of 3 years general landscape experience
• Basic knowledge of machinery use and upkeep

• Good plant knowledge qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential

• Ability to use a range of garden and landscape tools
• Ability to use initiative and take pride in delivering a high standard of work
• Ability to listen follow instructions and communicate with the team
• Good communication and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities:

You will

• Be performing garden/landscape maintenance tasks such as grass cutting/strimming edging weed control hedge pruning/cutting and trimming planting shrubs trees and seasonal bedding ground clearance sports ground maintenance and any other tasks associated with grounds maintenance to the highest company standards
• Previous garden maintenance operations experience is essential excellent knowledge of plants soil planting & establishment techniques in addition to the ability to use a variety of garden machinery mowers strimmers hedge trimmers etc.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies at all times
• Working in the landscape and maintenance division as part of the team
• Ensuring machinery and or equipment used is kept clean and fuel level check daily
• Working on various sites
