Job Brief:

Baker Commercial Landscaping Inc. has over 40 years of irrigation experience. Technicians are trained in areas such as a clock line valve and pump installation operational troubleshooting of heads and rotors and complete periodic system maintenance and repairs.

With todays demands on water conservation it is important that your system run as efficiently as possible. Our irrigation fleet is fully equipped with parts and accessories to assist with maintenance and repairs at the time we provide our comprehensive periodic system maintenance checks.

What we Expect in a Field Manager:

As a field manager you will be expected to visualize a job on paper and put it in place in the field. A field manager is expected to communicate well with the crew leaders and be able to manage up to 3 crews on any given day. Field managers are also responsible for communicating well with superintendents and project managers onsite to bring a project together.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Job Site Field Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning scheduling budgeting and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise coordinate and sequence crews work.

Monitor performance and coordinate with crew leaders to maintain productivity of crew and ensure adequate supplies and labor for the given job.

Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule.

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by enforcing contract requirements and safety guidelines

Assist office staff with invoicing after the job is completed as well as other contractual documents as needed from the builders.

Timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in the industry dealing with 500k projects or larger

Minimum 5 years of direct supervision over projects and crews.

2year technical degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation skills to resolve issues from superintendents and project managers.

Experience with Microsoft Office software including Word Outlook and Excel

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
