Laboratory Technician

Tasks

3Brain is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at its Italian unit. Collaborating closely with the Application Scientist team he/she will play a crucial role in supporting experimental activities and ensuring the seamless functioning of our cuttingedge technology. Actively taking care of the laboratory daily duties and following cell culture growth the laboratory technician will contribute to the success of inhouse demo and to support customer research and wet test validation of 3Brains products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Execute laboratory experiments and procedures in line with established protocols.
• Prepare maintain collect and test different biological models as dissociated cultures cell lines spheroids and organoids.
• Providing laboratory technical support to the application scientist team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records (e.g. reports notes.) of laboratory activities and results.
• Monitor consumables status and supplies ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted laboratory operations.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance to guarantee equipment functionality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including application scientist sales and hardware/software engineers to contribute to the development and validation of our technology.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the optimal performance of our products.
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of scientific experiments for inhouse demo and wet testing of 3Brains products and new prototypes.Provide support in testing the functioning of the produced devices guaranteeing high quality standard of 3Brains products.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in molecular/cell biology biotechnology life sciences or a related field.
• 2 years of laboratory experience in cell biology or a related field.
• Full proficiency in English both written and spoken.
• Familiarity in the use of computers and the Office package.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocols.
• Motivated and passionate about contributing to groundbreaking advancements in the field.

Additional Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in stem cell and/or human derived cell cultures.
• 1 years of experience of primary cell cultures.
• Deep knowledge of 3D biological models as spheroids/organoids.
