Our client is a supplier of electronics televisions and appliances. We are on the hunt for a Key Accounts Manager who will develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals as well as make meaningful connections with customers. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure targeted Coverage Sales Distribution and Retail Presence objectives are met for both the warehouse and buying group entities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Perform costbenefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Present promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyse the territory/market s potential track sales and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
- Participate in sales meetings and regular training.
- Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections.
- On time reporting and completion of daily administration objectives.
- The implementation of promotions when applicable
- Provide ongoing market intelligence to management.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fastpaced office environment
- Travel long distances including over night stays.
- Frequent driving of vehicle.
Requirements
Knowledge Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed Matric or equivalent accredited by SAQA
- Computer literate
- Minimum 3 years experience within a sales representative role.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication
- Basic computer skills (MS Outlook MS Office)
- Own vehicle and a valid driver s license
