Overview:

As a Junior Teller you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while performing various financial transactions. You will be responsible for accurately processing deposits withdrawals and payments for bank customers. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the branchs daily activities and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their financial transactions including deposits withdrawals and check cashing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures when processing transactions and handling customer data.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Assist in promoting and crossselling bank products and services to customers.
  • Process loan payments money orders and cashiers checks accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets.
  • Follow security protocols to safeguard customer and bank assets.
  • Complete daily reports and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and the ability to perform simple calculations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial transactions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and cash handling equipment.
  • Compliance with banking regulations and knowledge of security protocols.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to adhere to a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
