We are currently looking for a motivated Junior SOC Analyst to join our team.
As a Junior SOC Analyst you will work with our experienced team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the security of our systems.
You will be partly responsible for monitoring and analysing security incidents and taking appropriate action to prevent potential incidents.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and analyse security incidents in realtime using SIEM and SOAR tools and other security technologies.
2. Investigate suspicious activity and identify potential security breaches.
3. Collaborate with the team to respond to and recover from security incidents.
4. Maintain and improve procedures and documentation related to incident response.
5. Continually develop your cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
Requirements
Job requirements:
1. A completed degree in IT Cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent through work experience
2. A healthy passion for technology (cyber)security and related topics.
3. Basic knowledge of network protocols operating systems and cybersecurity concepts.
4. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6. Willingness to learn and develop yourself in a rapidly changing environment.
7. Willingness to work in shifts.
8. Good knowledge of both Dutch and French.
9. Be in possession of Belgian nationality.
