Bike Club Introduction

At Bike Club we offer subscriptions for childrens bikes that grow with your kids. Families pay a monthly fee and when their children outgrow their bikes we exchange them for a larger size. We refurbish the used bikes and make them available to other families. Its sustainable and hasslefree.

With over 80000 bikes we are the secondlargest bike rental network globally and the largest in the childrens bike sector. With over $50 million in funding we are rapidly expanding across Europe. While our headquarters is in the United Kingdom we are already active in Germany Austria and Spain. Now we are bringing Bike Club to the cycling paradise the Netherlands and we need your help.

About the Role

Located in Amsterdam the (Junior) Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in Bike Clubs sustained success and operational excellence.

You will manage daily order processing and logistics coordination across multiple locations while ensuring efficient supply chain operations for the bike fleet in the Netherlands Additionally you will support customer service oversee courier services and collaborate with different teams to monitor weekly key performance indicators.

This role is tailored for someone enthusiastic about peddling forward our vision and stimulating our continuing expansion in the Dutch market

Tasks

• Youll be in charge of managing daily orders always on the lookout for ways to make our workflow smoother and more efficient.
• Youll take the lead in coordinating logistics between our sites in the UK Germany Spain and the Netherlands keeping in touch with our shipping partners via email and phone.
• Your main focus will be making sure our Dutch bike fleets keep rolling smoothly.
• Plus youll be the goto person for the customer service team helping them tackle any questions or issues that come their way.
• Youll also keep an eye on our courier services to make sure everything gets where it needs to go on time.
• And of course youll be working closely with teams across the board from warehouse staff to mechanics to customer service as you draft up those weekly performance reports.

Requirements

• Were after someone whos dipped their toes into the world of logistics or forwarding maybe with a bit of experience in production or something similar under their belt.
• Being fluent in both Dutch and English is a must.
• We need a real team player here someone whos got their ducks in a row dependable and knows their way around IT tools like Excel WWS and Salesforce
• We highly value the diverse backgrounds and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While having a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is fantastic we appreciate and recognize the unique contributions of all team members.
