Our Client in the Retail / Wholesale industry is recruiting for a Junior Merchandiser to join their team. This position contributes to the success of the retail business (client) through strategic planning data analysis and customer engagement initiatives.
Key Duties Include:
- Collaborate with buyers and category managers to curate product assortments based on market trends customer preferences and sales data.
- Conduct regular market research to identify emerging product trends and opportunities for expansion.
- Analyze historical sales data to optimize product mix and assortment for each retail location.
- Issue of review samples for clients on an ongoing basis as well as new style to patterns and new style to sample sets
- All administration related to the import of garments and the execution thereof checking samples approvals and costings.
A minimum of 2 years in this role or similar is required in order for the application to be reviewed.
