Junior IT Security Engineer

Assertiv Consulting are leaders in designing and implementing Identity Security solutions throughout Australia and SE Asia. We are currently searching for talented Graduates and Junior IT Engineers and Developers to join our team in Singapore. We seek candidates who are hungry to learn new technologies, and willing to do the hard yards when it comes to delivering successful outcomes for our customers. In return, we will provide you with product training, on-site customer experiences, and the support of a great team to help you grow into an IT Security expert.

This role involves working on Identity Security projects under the guidance of more senior Identity Consultants to undertake the following project-based activities:

• Install and configure Identity & Access Management products.
  
• Assist with System, Integration and User Acceptance Testing.
  
• Assist with documentation (Solution Design, Test Case, Server As-built, etc.).
  
• Develop drivers and connectors for application single sign-on (if Software Engineer).
  
• Provide ongoing help desk support for customer implementations.
  

Requirements

Desired qualifications & experience:

• University graduated, with course work around software development, computer networks, and web development.
  
• Examples of professional work experience in an IT security related environment (preferred).
  
• A strong passion and desire to learn new technology.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• A willingness in learning to develop, implement and configure complex IT Security solutions.
  
• The right to work permanently in Australia without requiring a visa/sponsorship.
  
• Openness to interstate travel if required.
  

Desired technical expertise/knowledge:

• Knowledge of security concepts and principles (e.g. knowledge of SAML and Oauth).
  
• Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Web development (if Software Engineer).
  
• Networking technologies and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls).
  
• Cloud computing AWS, Azure, Google.
  
• Windows Server, Linux, IOS, Android.
