This role is hybrid and can be based in Netherlands or UK. We have coworking space in London and beautiful office in Amsterdam (2 days per week in the office/coworking).

Tasks

Day to day accountabilities

You will be expected to:

• Create new solutions and deliver maintainable and performant code.
• Collaborate with your teammates to ship product features quickly and propose solutions to various challenges.
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering team in technical investigations.
• Deploy code to production monitor and solve any problems. In other words own your code.
• Contribute to evolving current product and build new product modules solutions and features.

Requirements

About you

• You have at least 1 year of overall programming experience with a JVM language preferably Kotlin or Java.
• You have experience with design development testing and monitoring of software.
• You are able to write well defined unit/integration tests.
• You have high sense of quality code and community best practices.

You understand data structures algorithms and software design.

• Fluency in English.

Extra plus for:

• You are able to communicate effectively with your teammates and propose solutions to various challenges.
• You are pragmatic in building features quickly and iterating in a data driven fashion.
• You worked on on B2B marketplace products.
