Junior Accountant

1. Financial Record Maintenance:
   

   • Record daytoday financial transactions accurately and promptly.
     
   • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
     
   • Prepare and post journal entries.
     

2. Accounts Receivable and Payable:
   

   • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
     
   • Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
     
   • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
     
   • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
     

3. Financial Reporting:
   

   • Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g. balance sheet income statement cash flow statement).
     
   • Generate various financial reports and analyses as required.
     
   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
     

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   

   • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering relevant financial information.
     
   • Assist in preparing budget reports and variance analysis.
     

5. Compliance and Audit:
   

   • Assist with compliance efforts related to tax filings regulatory requirements and internal controls.
     
   • Participate in internal and external audits.
     
   • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
     

6. Financial Analysis:
   

   • Conduct basic financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
     
   • Assist in analyzing financial performance and identifying trends.
     

7. Software Proficiency:
   

   • Utilize accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) proficiently.
     
   • Maintain digital records and documentation accurately.
     

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  
• Previous internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
