Java Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Write welldesigned efficient code
• Contribute to all phases of the development process
• Collaborate with the team to design and launch new features
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Ensure applications are secure and uptodate
• Stay updated on emerging technologies
• Work with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Conduct software analysis programming testing and debugging
• Develop highquality software documentation
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Participate in code reviews
• Assist in the development of software user manuals
• Resolve complex technical design issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
• Experience with Java frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate)
• Expertise in SQL and database management
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Ability to write clean efficient code
• Excellent problemsolving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• Experience with testdriven development
• Familiarity with software design patterns
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
