Role: Java Developer
Location: Austin TX or Newport Beach CA (Onsite from day one)

Responsibilities
- Professional software development experience
- Solid development experience in core Java
- Experience developing Distributed Systems
- Good understanding of the software development process
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding and experience in the following areas:
- Java core containers/data structures
- Ability to understand and rapidly implement efficient algorithms
- Multi-threading
- Design patterns: when they are applicable, and their boundaries
- Can recognize and correct code smells
- Preferred, but not required experience in some of the following areas:
a. Cloud development and tools
b. Python
c. Database development
d. Linux scripting
e. Maven
f. Writing restful services
g. Java messaging service
h. Spring dependency injection
