Jack-Up Barge Design and Hydraulic Systems Engineer

1. Barge Design and Development:

• Lead the design and engineering efforts for jackup barges ensuring compliance with industry standards regulations and project specifications.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including naval architects and structural engineers to develop detailed design plans and specifications for new jackup barge projects.

1. Hydraulic Systems Integration:

• Design analyze and oversee the implementation of hydraulic systems for jacking mechanisms propulsion systems and other critical components of jackup barges.
• Ensure hydraulic systems are optimized for efficiency reliability and safety in various operational conditions.

1. Technical Documentation:

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings specifications and technical documentation for jackup barge structures and hydraulic systems.
• Work closely with the project team to provide timely and accurate technical information for construction and installation purposes.

• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends related to jackup barge design and hydraulic systems.
• Integrate innovative solutions to enhance the performance sustainability and safety of our offshore assets.

1. Project Management:

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and contractors during the construction and commissioning phases.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Naval Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and engineering of jackup barges with a focus on hydraulic systems.
• Indepth knowledge of structural design principles hydraulic engineering and offshore construction.
• Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software and engineering simulation tools.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with dynamic positioning systems.
• Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification societies.
• Previous involvement in the construction and commissioning of jackup barges.
