EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related subject and at least 5 years post related experience
Project Management Concepts and Methodologies (PRINCE2 etc.)
Formal ITIL Certification in the Service Transition and Continued Service Improvement
Sound knowledge and experience in various areas of:
Virtualization Technologies, Operating Systems, Windows Server
Latest Server, Storage, Client, Active Directory and Infrastructure Networking hardware technologies
Enterprise Systems Management services, methods and tools (i.e. SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM)
Managing and successfully delivering IT upgrade/migration projects that included cross domain/forest migration of users and applications
Coordinating, developing and writing IT technical documentation, user guides, user acceptance criteria, migration communication plans and IT testing/acceptance plans
Strong experience in coordinating and developing strategy, plans, schedules and documentation for IT upgrade/migration projects that included cross domain/forest migration of users and applications
Familiarity with Business relations, Change management, Risk management and mitigation strategies, system migration and transition
Prior experience of working in an International Organisation environment comprising both military and civilian elements
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization
Experience from working in a IT/CIS service provisioning organization
Experience with design and implementation of Active Directory Federation Services in large enterprise environments
5+ years experience, supported by professional certification in the implementation and administration of COTS products such as MS Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, MS SQL, VMware, MS Hyper-V, MS SharePoint, MS Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services, MS Exchange, MS Skype for Business, Client OS (Windows, OSX, iOS, Android etc.)
Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills
Good knowledge of industry standard methodologies and best practices
Possess the following certifications:
Formal ITIL Certification in the Service Transition and Continued Service Improvement
Project Management Concepts and Methodologies (PRINCE2 etc.)

DUTIES/ROLE:
Develop, coordinate and formalize overarching Migration and Transition Strategy document (Services, Applications, Data and User Migration for ITM project)
Develop, coordinate and formalize overarching Migration and Transition Plan document (Services, Applications, Data and User Migration for ITM project)
Develop, coordinate and formalize User Migration Strategy document
Develop, coordinate and formalize Site Transition Migration Plan Template (STMP) document
Develop, coordinate and formalize User Migration Guide
Populate, coordinate and formalize STMP - one for each ITM Recovery Site. The document scope should cover Services, Applications, Data and User Migration, as a minimum
Manage transition to operations, STMP implementation and Site Acceptance
Participate to meetings, workshops, SCRUMS and other ITM events
Produce supporting documentation for the various meetings/events as directed by the Line Manager (WP 12.2 Lead/Deputy Lead)
Prepare, agree and coordinate the schedule for User Migration Alpha and Beta Testing
Conduct Site Surveys
Produce Site Survey Reports
Develop and provide Blackout Periods Template to be used for all sites
Produce, coordinate and maintain an up-to-date Migration Schedule for each site location
Communicate User Migration Schedule to external stakeholders (recursive effort)
Develop a coordinated User Migration Communication Plan including the provision of briefings that will explain the upcoming IT upgrade, a user guide and the schedule for email notifications
Develop a coordinated and harmonized template for Gold Data for all involved sites and Work Packages
Maintain an up-to-date Gold Data baseline/repository for all involved sites
Provide template for the Pre-User Migration Checklists and support users in the pre-migration activities
Support users in the pre-migration activities (in line with user Migration guidance)
Organize, coordinate and execute with one site a dry run of Smart Cards activation before execution, including objectives definition (validate procedures, validate service tree, validate Gold Data properties, validate user information campaign, validate handout material) and all related activities for the deploy, execute, analyse and correction
Coordination with Local Sites before execution of Smart Cards activation
Develop, distribute and maintain an up-to-date schedule for the Smart Cards activation
Coordinate and support the activation of Smart Cards with certificates and distribute activated Smart Cards to Users for all involved sites
Manage the implementation phase
Identify and coordinate the provision of the environment to establish a kiosk during Smart Cards activation
Provide How-to guide for Users and explain Smart Card use to the Users
Address any shortfalls related to the "readiness for user migration"
Develop and provide a Plan for decommissioning old hardware
Provide template for the Post-Transition Checklists
Address all identified issues including shortfalls related to the Post-Transition Checklist
Produce a complete and detailed Test and Acceptance Plan for WP 12.2
Develop User Test Requirement, Cases and Test Runs
Develop Operational Site Acceptance Requirement, Cases and Test Runs
Sign off the Operational Site Acceptance
Establish/produce and maintain an up-to date Data Repository (web portal, share point etc.) to host all the produced data (plans, briefings, documents, lists, databases etc.) on the purchaser network/ IT infrastructure.
Develop a Support Plan/Early life Support Plan that will be used/valid during user migration and after transition to operation
