IT Transport Management Systems TMS Expert

• Master the TMS becoming adept in describing and documenting business processes for the team.
  
• Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency within the system tailored to the teams needs.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand business challenges and devise softwarebased solutions.
  
• Propose new processes and procedures based on analysis of the status quo and business challenges.
  
• Provide training and support to colleagues for the implementation of new processes facilitating knowledge transfer.
  
• Work with the data analytics team to develop reports measuring the success of business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  
• Perform operational tasks related to the TMS including performance tuning security and backup.
  
• Develop Process Flows based on business needs.
  
• Undertake additional duties aligned with your skills and experience.
  

Requirements

• All candidates must be based in Ireland.
  
• Bachelors degree in IT Systems Computer Science Mathematics or relevant professional experience.
  
• Alternatively secondary education with strong experience in freight forwarding and a robust IT background.
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between IT knowhow and business understanding for effective knowledge transfer.
  
• Analytical thinking with demonstrated problemsolving skills to add value to processes.
  
• Programming experience familiarity with SQL and proficiency in data management and analysis software.
  
• Availability for international travel.
