Our team is looking for the IT Support Specialist to join one of our German clients. The project is for a minimum 6 months with possible monthly extensions thereafter.

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the technological infrastructure of an organization providing technical assistance and ensuring smooth daytoday operations.

Tasks

12 years of experience with:

1. **Help Desk Support:**

  • Responding to user inquiries and technical issues via phone email or inperson.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems and providing timely solutions.
  • Offering guidance on the use of various IT systems and applications.

2. **Hardware and Software Maintenance:**

  • Installing configuring and maintaining computer systems servers and peripheral devices.
  • Managing and updating software applications antivirus programs and operating systems.
  • Performing routine hardware maintenance and upgrades.

3. **Network Support:**

  • Assisting in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
  • Collaborating with network administrators to ensure efficient data flow.

4. **User Training:**

  • Conducting training sessions to educate users on best practices and efficient use of IT
    resources.
  • Creating user guides and documentation for common issues and procedures.

5. **Security Management:**

  • Implementing and enforcing security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  • Participating in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.

6. **System Monitoring:**

  • Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals to optimize system performance.

7. **Documentation:**

  • Maintaining accurate records of IT equipment configurations and user access.
  • Documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

8. **Collaboration and Communication:**

  • Collaborating with other IT team members to address complex issues.
  • Communicating effectively with nontechnical users to understand and resolve problems.

9. **Adaptability:**

  • Staying informed about advancements in technology and IT best practices.

10. Written and spoken German is a must.
